Abstract: The effectiveness of industry mentorship programs in vocational sectors is a critical area of inquiry amidst the growing emphasis on practical skill development. This study aims to assess the impact of mentorship programs on vocational education by examining their perceived benefits and challenges. The objectives include evaluating participant satisfaction with mentorship experiences, identifying key skills and knowledge gained, and analyzing the long-term career outcomes attributed to mentorship. A survey research design is justified for its ability to gather quantitative and qualitative data from a diverse sample of vocational students and mentors across different sectors. A sample size of 300 participants will be selected through purposive sampling, ensuring representation from both mentors and mentees with varying levels of experience. Case studies will focus on prominent vocational training institutions in Lagos State, chosen for their diversity and strategic importance in Nigeria's vocational education landscape. Findings indicate that industry mentorship programs significantly enhance practical skill acquisition and career readiness among vocational students. Recommendations emphasize the need for standardized mentorship frameworks, continuous program evaluation, and enhanced collaboration between educational institutions and industries to maximize program effectiveness.
